Project update - crochet
I have overcome my irrational attitude toward crochet:) I made a doily. My very first. I am thrilled and have bought more yarn.
Michaels is open again so I went in yesterday and found a really nice book "I Can't Believe I'm Crocheting! updated edition" (which about sums up how I am feeling) that shows how to do both right and left hand crocheting.

Love that book! That's the series of booklets that I used to teach myself both crochet and knitting (and not so incidentally, pattern reading). It was really helpful. I think you'll like it. Congrats on the doily! Its really pretty.
You go girl. I used to crochet all the time and love working with #10 bedspread cotton as well as various yarns for afgans. But the doilies....there's something to be said about going in circles! Sometimes it's just good therapy!
